Eggs are versatile and a great protein-packed meal any time of day. How should you make them? We’ll show you 3 ways. Hard-boiled, scrambled, fried.

Boiled:

  1. Boil eggs for 9-10 minutes

  2. Remove eggs and put them in ice water

  3. Peel and enjoy

Scrambled:

  1. Beat eggs in a bowl

  2. Add to preheated greased pan

  3. Gently stir over medium heat

  4. Cook until eggs are firm

Fried:

  1. Cook eggs on medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes per side

  2. Flip

  3. Cook until desired doneness

How to Safely Prepare Food | Sanitizing

When preparing food, cleaning and sanitizing are important steps not to forget. Bacteria you can’t see can make you sick and spread to other foods and surfaces. There are lots of homemade and commercial products you can use! It’s important to remember some cleaners and sanitizers require food surfaces to be rinsed after so make sure to follow manufacturer instructions.

Steps for safely preparing food at home:

  1. Wash hands with warm water for at least 20 seconds

  2. Disinfect all work surfaces with food-safe disinfectant (follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the label. Some commercial sanitizers require food surfaces to be rinsed after using.)

  3. Keep meats and vegetables separate

  4. Wash hands after handling raw meat

  5. Clean all surfaces and utensils with soap and warm water

  6. Disinfect all work surfaces

  • Make sure chicken is fresh and cooked before use by date

  • Use rolling pin to pound chicken flat, this helps the chicken cook evenly

  • Trim chicken if necessary

  • Season

  • Bake at 400 degrees for 20-22 minutes

  • Cook chicken on medium heat for 10 minutes per side

  • Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit

  • Let rest for at least 5 minutes
